Glensoulan Rescue 03/06/13
On Monday 03/06/13 at 12.30hrs while out walking a section of the Wicklow Way in Glensoulan a member of the Glen Team came to the assistance of a lady who had fallen and fractured her arm while walking with friends. Both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were alerted and transport by 4×4 was arranged while the woman was being treated. When the Mountain Rescue 4×4 arrived she was walked to it and transported to an awaiting ambulance which brought her to hospital for further treatment.
