Ballinastoe Search 02/02/14
On Sunday 02/02/14 at 20.05hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to search for a young man in his early 20’s who had been reported as overdue by his family. The young man had travelled to the Ballinastoe Woods to enjoy the mountain bike trails. While carrying out an initial search on the tracks in a 4×4 vehicle Mountain Rescue personnel found him. He had become disorientated but was safe and well.
