Call Out 03: Djouce Woods Rescue 17/01/16
At approximately 13.10hrs on Sunday the 17th of January both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochanna to come to the assistance of a man who had fallen and suffered a shoulder injury while in Djouce Woods.
Mountain Rescue personnel gained entry to the woods and located the injured man 2 kms in on a forest track. They then transported him to a waiting ambulance which brought him to hospital for further care.
