Call Out 52: Glendalough Rescue 07/09/16
At approximately 13.23hrs on Wednesday September 7th both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to come to the assistance of a teenage boy who had suffered an injury while out walking with a youth group.
The teenager suffered a lower leg injury and one of the guides with the group called for assistance from Mountain Rescue. Once treated MR personnel stretchered the young man down to a waiting MR 4×4. He was then transported to where one of his parents waiting for him in the car park in Glendalough.
