Call Out 9: Brockagh Rescue 18/2/17
The Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist a female hillwalker on Brockagh East Top on Saturday at 15:50hrs. The woman was walking with a small group when she fell, sustaining a hip injury. MR personnel assessed and treated the walker before evacuating her by stretcher to a waiting vehicle. She was then transported to a nearby road and transferred to an ambulance. The incident, call out 9, was stood down at 18:30hrs.
