Call Out 31: Scarr Rescue 17/5/17
At approximately 14:30hrs on Wednesday, May 17th, The Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked to assist a young female hillwalker. The young woman was walking with a group when she became ill.
Mountain rescue (MR) personnel were deployed to meet the group, and once there, MR medics assessed the hillwalker. The young woman was then evacuated from the incident site in an MR vehicle to a waiting ambulance. The incident was stood down at 15:46hrs.
