Call Out 47: Lugnaquilla 5/8/17
At 15:33hrs on Saturday, August 5th, Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to respond when a female walker fell while descending from Lugnaquilla.
Mountain rescue (MR) personnel located the party of walkers, assessed the woman, and began treating the her injuries. MR personnel then assisted Rescue 117 to airlift the woman for transport to hospital. The incident was stood down at 18:26hrs.
