News of Moonlight Challenge 2021

After 2 years of rollercoaster decisions – will it run, will it not run, will it, wont it – we were finally able to post on facebook October 7th 2021 –

“The GREAT news is we are able to run our event this year

Due to circumstances though we are running the event with limited numbers. As a result the event is only open to 2019 captains and is already full to capacity. We apologise for any disappointment BUT!! other GREAT news is we will have a NEW event running in early Spring which will be open for registration HERE first! So watch this space for more news coming soon! Moonlight Challenge 2022 will ( ) run as normal. Date will be posted here soon”

It was great to be back in action! The participants and the atmosphere on the night was SUPER, the weather behaved and we even got to see the moon a few times..

This year was very much oriented around a green event. Our buffs were recycled and had a picture of the route on them. We also were sponsored by Coillte and we made a promise to plant a tree for every participant 👏🏻 🌲
