Derrybawn Rescue 25/01/14
On Saturday 25/01/14 at approx 13.27hrs both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to come to the aid of a man in his 50’s who had suffered a leg injury while out walking on Derrybawn. The man was transported by an MR 4×4 vehicle to the Glen Team Base for assessment by medics before being transferred by HSE Ambulance to hospital for further assessment. The incident was stood down at 14.45 hrs.
