Call Out 19: Glenmalure Rescue 15/04/16
At 18:44hrs on Friday, April 15th, both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to search for two students. The students became separated from their Gaisce Award group whilst hillwalking.
Mountain Rescue vehicles were deployed to search tracks in Glendalough and Glenmalure. The pair were found at the Mullacor Hut and safely returned to the rest of their group. The operation was stood down at approximately 19:30hrs.
