At approximately 15:30hrs on Sunday, August 7th, both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by an Garda Síochána to an incident in Glendalough.

A female walker sustained lower leg injuries after a fall on the Spink. Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 116 airlifted the woman. The incident was stood down at 16:49hrs.
