Call Out 65: Tonelagee Rescue 27/11/16
At approximately 13:50hrs on Sunday the 27th of November both the Glen of Imaal Irish Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochána to come to the assistance of two people who became disorientated whilst descending Tonelagee in dense fog, North of the Wicklow Gap.
Using SARLOC technology their location was pinpointed and they were instructed by MR via their mobile phone to follow a nearby stream downhill to the track system in Brockagh Woods where a waiting MR 4×4 collected them.
