Call Out 23: Lugnaquilla Search 17/3/17
At 13:10hrs on Friday, March 17th, Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team to search for two walkers who became disoriented while descending from the summit of Lugnaquilla in poor visibility. Mountain rescue (MR) personnel were deployed to search along the Little Slaney river while a wider search plan was established. The walkers were located alongside the river and escorted to safety. The incident was stood down at 15:26hrs.
